David is an Oxford-based life sciences angel investor.
Since 2016 he has been focused on early-stage investing, managing the Arrowfield Capital syndicate, and his passion is working with young companies to realise an ambitious idea and attract investment capital for growth.
David is a member of Cambridge Angels, Cambridge Capital Group, OION, as well as the UK Business Angels Association.
David has over 20 years of global investment experience. He started his career in 1997 as a pan-European equity analyst for PRICOA Capital Group covering the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and chemicals sectors.
Latterly he was Managing Director & Head of Credit Research for Intermediate Capital Group plc in London where was responsible for oversight for all of ICG’s Senior Debt and High Yield investments in Europe and Asia, totalling over €10bn of Funds under Management.
Over his career he has developed a deep global network across the capital markets, corporate and investor communities having invested and raised capital globally.
He is a graduate of Oxford University with a Masters degree in Biochemistry (M.Biochem).

Andrew is the founder and Director of the strategy consulting firm Firetail.
He has over 18 years experience as a strategy consultant and is an advisor to senior leaders in higher education, NGOs, foundations and social enterprises. He also works as an advisor and investor with a number of start-ups and social ventures.
At Firetail, his clients have included the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the United Nations, the Royal Society of Chemistry, the International Science Council, Malaria No More UK and Anthony Nolan.
Prior to founding Firetail, Andy was Head of Strategy for Cancer Research UK, where he ran the Strategy Unit and Consumer Insight teams, covering fundraising, marketing and public engagement for the UKʼs largest charity.
He was a founding member of the commercial strategy consulting firm Credo, and worked for the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit. He is currently Vice President and Trustee of the Board of The New Humanitarian, the humanitarian news and analysis NGO.
He graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
